About ClariOS

Hi! My name is Claribel. I'm a recently-out trans girl who randomly decided to write a short guide about Linux to help people move over. Initially, I wasn't planning on doing much more than publish a doc or maybe a simple blog, but the idea spiraled out of control pretty quickly.

You see, I've always loved computers. Computers, the systems that manage them, and all the intricacies inside. I love these machines, and I love using them, and using Linux has renewed a feeling that I thought I lost many, many years ago.

I want to deepen my own knowledge while helping you feel comfortable in your new digital home, so for that reason, the brief article turned into a whole newsletter, and the intent is to go very thoroughly through all of what Linux has to offer.

We'll start at the basics, and end up exploring things that you might have dreamed of, but maybe you thought were beyond your reach. Let's create your own OS! I'll teach you how while I work on mine.

If you find ClariOS and its contents valuable, consider buying me a coffee! I'm currently on the process of figuring out my gender transition and trying to pay some computer repair classes so I can do weird stuff with hardware and sustain myself. Every donation helps me along the way to stability!

If you're unable to, don't worry! Sharing my stuff around is more than enough. I don't plan on paywalling any of the articles.
